Bukit Kiara Trail Running

Lead by Kenny Kwan, the group went for a trail running in the new year at Bukit Kiara (Taman Tun Dr Ismail) on Monday, 2 January 2012. It was really a good and challenging run tackling from one trail to another going through Flying Carpets, 2K, Interloop, Snake & Ladder, Twinpeak, Kampung, etc. An interesting observation is that we went through Bukit Kiara Equestrian Park which is on the far end from the starting point, and then return via the trails again.
.
The weather was fine and the ground was dry as it was without rain for a few days. In these hills, we could see that the rubber trees are being tapped by rubber tappers and the latex is collected using plastic cups and not the conventional and reusable porceline cups. Unique to rubber plantation is that certain areas are smelly with the left over latex.

At the cross-road of Bukit Kiara

Open for business? That looks like the Dragon Inn as in the latest Jet Li's sword-fighting movie 'Flying Swords of Dragon Gate'... :-)

 Taking a breather

Walk across Bukit Kiara Equestrian Park ... all start with the right feet ...

 Neat and nice pose

By the stream of Bukit Kiara-lon (as in By the river of Babylon)

Latex is collected using a plastic and not the conventional cup (as in rubber estates)

We meet a group of mountain bikers (MTB) going through the same direction ... According to Tri Stupe, MTB also mean 'Mari Tolak Basikal'... :-)
